Brooklyn brownout cake?

Not good...

If you've ever had Brookyn Blackout Cake, you know how dark and rich it is. My fave is the one from Tillie's on DeKalb Avenue, but Little Red Hen Bakery in Park Slope also does it pretty well. Anyway, we noticed last night that the AC wasn't really getting the job done, and then we found out this AM that Con'ed had turned down the juice.

Today will be the killer, I think, as the system is already strained, and it's hottest of the three days. Tonight's show at Il Sogno will probably be inside, lest I wilt.
